Cancellations Owing to Weather

The Weather Assurance

Your security is paramount. Should our seasoned captain decide that weather conditions render sailing unsafe, we present the following adaptable choices:

  • Full Refund: Issued if rescheduling is impractical
  • Reschedule: Charter reassignment to an alternate date without extra charges
  • Charter Credit: A credit valid for one year from the original date

Evaluating Weather Conditions

The weather evaluation process takes into account:

  • Assessing wind velocity and direction
  • Reviewing sea conditions and wave heights
  • Visibility and precipitation outlook
  • Coast Guard notifications and cautions
  • Expert captain's safety assessment

Decision Making: Cancellation decisions due to weather are made at most 4 hours ahead of the scheduled departure.

We are aware that unforeseeable medical urgencies can arise. Under such circumstances, we may accommodate special revisions:

  • Unexpected medical conditions needing hospital attendance
  • Passing of a close family member
  • Unanticipated military assignments or recalls
  • Legal obligations such as jury duty or subpoenas
  • Natural events impacting travel possibilities

Documentation Needed

If the boat allocated to you suffers from technical malfunctions that remain unresolved:

  • Substitute Vessel: We will endeavor to provide a similar alternative boat
  • Complete Refund: Authorized if no comparable substitute is available
  • Partial Refund: If the replacement boat entails different rates
  • Compensation: Extra compensation for the trouble may be given

Unavailable Crew

In exceptional cases where the certified crew is inaccessible:

  • An alternate crew may be provided if feasible
  • Entire refund if the yacht journey is impeded
  • Rebooking without incurring additional costs

In the event your yacht experience is compromised or shortened due to factors we control:

  • A refund calculated on the undelivered portion
  • A credit matching the unutilized service for future use
  • Free services or upgrades may be provided as a courtesy

Interruptions Initiated by Guests

If a yacht reservation is brought to an early finish due to the conduct or security breaches by the guests:

  • No reimbursement for the period not utilized
  • Full payment is still required
